A David Girl is strong yet feminine.  She is the girl that intrigues you as she struts down the city street with
perfect poise and unshakable confidence.  She is the modern woman. David Quinn is the Parisian
designer for just such a woman and one of the instigators behind the new wave in French street styles.

You can say Quinn has fashion in his blood. Growing up in a house of design where his father is a cutter
and manages some of the world’s most prestigious design studies.  After graduating from the Ecole de la
Cambre Syngicale de la Couture Parisienne and working as a pattern designer for Gilles Rosier for four
seasons, Quinn, decided to take his skills to the next level.  ““I am an intuitive person. The time had come
to give free rein to what I felt. Design is my way of expressing myself.”

His Fall/Winter 2007 Collection, which is his first independent collection, marries city-chic and feminine
styling with the use of tweeds and silks.  Victorian Style necklines detail a body hugging silk dress while
the tweed bomber jackets and newsboy caps paired with riding style Capri pants put off a ‘ne touchez pas
avec moi’ attitude while still leaving room for soft femininity.

For his next collection Quinn explores designer style with an urban flair that is based on a woman who
embodies a delicate reincarnation of 1950’s glamour.  The Neo Retro collection will be mad of stretch silks
and wool jerseys, shinny and matter finishes, body hugging cuts, and black backdrops to set off gem toned
colors like jewels in a jewel box.

David Quinn is undoubtedly an Indie Parisian gem who is sure to only gain value and notoriety in the
seasons to come.
